DoI need any previous experience to take WSET Level 2?

There are no formal prerequisites to enrol in the WSET Level 2 course. However, students who have completed Level 1 may benefit from a stronger foundation.

To participate in the wine tastings during the course, you must be of legal drinking age. That said, tasting is not mandatory to earn the qualification.

Arethere wine tastings during the course?

Howlong does the course last?

WSET Level 2 is an intensive 3-days course (usually from 10:00 to 17:00), including training, tastings, and the final exam—all conducted under the responsibility of the Plansel International Wine School, official WSET APP.

After completing the WSET Level 2 course

You’ll have a solid understanding of the world’s key grape varieties and the most important wine regions where they are grown.

You’ll be able to confidently interpret wine labels, classifications, and terminology across different styles and origins.

And when you're ready to take the next step, you'll be fully prepared to continue your wine journey with the WSET Level 3 course.
